Carriage

The Vis-à-vis carriage was built in the fall of 2007 by Yoder Carriage Works in Waukon, IA. It is black and white with gold detail. It has emerald green crushed velvet interior. Our seats are 54", which will provide ample room for wedding dresses or fancy gowns. It can carry six average size adults, however we prefer to carry four adults, so our horse is more comfortable. It is equipped with flashers, parking lights, bright/dim lamps, and hydraulic brakes. Our carriage has a canopy top which can be down in fair weather, up in rainy or hot weather, or fully enclosed in cold or unfavorable weather (see pictures above). We also provide quilts for cool evenings and winter.  For weddings, we have a 'Just Married' sign and provide white floral decorations to the carriage. You may also add some of your own decorations, if you prefer. We do not allow balloons or anything dragging from the back of the carriage, as it is a safety issue. Safety is our #1 concern.
